An AIFD professional freelance designer, as well as being affiliated with The Ritz-Carlton of Laguna Nigel floral department, Gery has over 30 years in the floral design industry. After studying at Oregon State University in Floriculture/Greenhouse Management, he began his successful career in the retail industry. His talents brought him to California in the early 70s where he now creates designs of distinction for many venues including local, state, and national design programs in the floral industry. He has represented such companies as Western Pulp, Design Master and created exciting displays for C.M. Offrey Ribbon. At both the Los Angeles Gift Mart and Dallas International Floral Pavilion, numerous companies display his talents.

Over the years, Gery has competed in design competitions, rising to the occasion each time and winning numerous titles and trophies for his imaginative creations. No challenge is too big or small for him to undertake. It's these things that constantly drive him to accept new ventures.

Over the years, Gery has shown his desire to participate in local venues such as staging florals for the Redlands Bowl, decorating Christmas trees for Santa Claus, Inc., and designed for the Assistance League of San Bernardino Headdress Ball. You can also find his talents at the LA County Fair Floral Pavilion and cruising down Clorado Boulevard on New Year's Day in the remarkable creations of Fiesta Floats. Obviously, he believes in returning deeds to the communities that have supported him throughout the years.

Gery resides in Redlands and is currently designing Ridgecrest Townhomes models with Ruth Chafin and Melissa Nichols after successfully completing the design for the Orange Garden Townhomes phases in Redlands.
